Our parish is a part of the Diocese of San Bernardino, headed by Bishop Gerald R. Barnes. The diocese includes all of San Bernardino and Riverside counties and is home to more than 1 million Catholics.
Our Lady of Soledad is served by priests of the Congregation of Holy Cross, a religious community founded in 1837 by the Venerable Basil Moreau in Le Mans, France. Priests of the parish are part of the Indiana Province, headquartered in Notre Dame, Indiana.
The VMP was founded in 1984 by Holy Cross priest José Pawlicki and neighbors the parish. It's mission is to reach out to those who are on the margins of society and of the Church, to put them into a love relationship with their God and recognize that Jesus is their Friend.
